About this collection
A mandala is a concentric composition that leads the eye to its center. Danijela Mališić paints each one freehand, without stencils: the geometry is laid out in pencil, watercolor is built up in layers, and gold pigment goes on last so it catches daylight.
Works come in 30 x 40, 40 x 50 and 50 x 70 cm. A mandala sits best on a calm wall above a bed or desk or in a meditation corner, framed with an acid free mat that keeps the paper away from the glass.
